I visited the dentist today. It was probably my first time going by my own, but it was very much the same anyway. I only screwed up in giving the receptionist the appointment card. I just couldnt see where to put it. But whether its with the parents or by yourself is no different. The moment you lie upon that horrible chair, the world is shut off and you are by yourself again.

The experience doesn improve with age. It still remains the same. I feel like I am writing some composition I read back in primary school. Haha. But yeah here goes. You lie upon the hard chair lined up with gadgets that do not appear the least bit friendly. Then the dentist picks up one of the tools, the one with the terrible noise, and asks you to open your mouth. And she begins to do her work.

With every movement of her hands, you find yourself sinking deeper and deeper into the cold hard chair, no where to run, no where to hide. It was as she was attacking every vessel in your gums, the occupational sadistic nature in her erupting as she broke every artery and they began to spur out fresh red blood. And she kept going.

It wasnt so bad actually. I just felt like exagarrating. =x It was a mere 5 minutes. And the dentist was nice and smiley. Haha. Actually I am pretty lucky, I dont really care for my teeth but yeah I got a nice set. No fillings, no decays. Just weak gums. But yup. And my next appointment is set next year. That will be pretty long. Whoopee.

Before that, went with Kenneth LY and Fred to buy some stuff. LY was early today surprisingly while the rest were late. It is quite amazing who you can see in half and hour of hanging around Tampines interchange. How about 1/3 of the girls in your class? Okay lah its just two but yeah saw Bang and Capt Ris. Haha.

Oh and we saw Fantastic Four life in action. Its damm funny. There was only Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Silver Surfer and Doctor Doom. The difference between their skills? None. They all just jump and throw punches and kicks. Oh wow. And a very funny remark by Kenneth : I can see Invisible Woman! And the lamest thing is how they defeat Dr Doom. Its like the kids shout something, then suddenly the four of them raise one hand in the air, and proceed to carry Doctor Doom back stage. Wow. Its fun to be a kid really. They kid you all the time. And we saw the Fantastic Four and friends later, in not so fantastic shape taking the escalator. I wonder if the kids will recognise them. Lol. =x

Went to play mahjong at Kennies house later. I heard my mum isnt too proud of me playing mahjong. But I seriously dont see the harm since no money involved? It is just like daidee or some other card game. I dont see the point. Shrugs.

Then it was dinner and we sat there pretty long talking about life before JC. Not bad, guys talk. It is really quite rare in JC that you get guys time, so yeah, appreciate it. =)
