Rainy day. But hey rainy days dont mean you stay home and feel sad about it. The rain is a wonderful creation. Rain does not mean you run for shelter. It is one of lifes greatest pleasures to stroll in that drizzle. Just dont fall sick. Or just dont fall. Dont wear frictionless flip flops. Uh yeah. Rainy days.

Went to meet my NRP partner at the National Library to discuss how we can bluff our way through the rest of the process. For such a tall building, the National Library does not provide much seating outside of the quiet area where you cant discuss. Found a bench on the outskirts of the building but it started raining. Evantually found a random spot on the 10th floor to finish our discussion. Wasn exactly fruitful but I guess we sorted things out. I just have to summarise the progress report and bluff my way through on the 18th. Cool.

Wrapped up in less than an hour. Went to meet my fellow musketeers. Well I was at Bugis and there were at Pasir Ris so I figured it would be a long wait. So I decided to take the train to meet them halfway, at Eunos. But I got on at the wrong carriage and ended up squeezing through the crowd. Guess I may have pissed some people. =X Oh yeah Waiyin was there too.

They were job hunting lah basically. Wanted some hotel jobs. So I just tagged along. The plan was to go Ritz Carlton but we ended up around the Marina Square hotels: Pan Pac, Oriental and Marina Mandrin. We found a sign pointing to The Oriental. So we went in. Climbed some stairs. More stairs. And found out........that that was a staff only entrance. Oh wow.

So we continued wandering around. Found the way to Marina Mandrin. Went inside but dont know who to look for. So in the end they didn go any interviews whatsoever. I think they fixed something up next Monday. Oh well wish them luck. Oh ya. Marina Mandrin has a wonderful interior structure. Never really seen such elaborate and complicated structure in all my hotel stays. If you go to a high floor of the hotel and look down, you will know what I mean.

Ended up lepaking around Marina Square. Damm I didn bring my Zen. Could have sent it for repairs. Pool was $9.80 per hour. Wow. Bowling wasn exactly cheap too. So we just walked around the shops. Walked and walked and walked. Oh we visited the Giant there. They bought water while I randomly bought some 80 cent biscuit. Wasn as custardy as the packaging promised but was quite good.

Took the long bus home. 14 from suntec all the way to Bedok Interchange. Then we parted ways there lah. Saw BangBang and Jianxin there. But my bus came already so no chance to talk. Think Terence went to talk to them lah. Hahas. Another long bus ride. But I was in the mood today. Though I fear madmen on bus 17s from Bedok Interchange. The species that bang their heads on the windows and ask everyone to die. Luckily it was rather uneventful.

Have to start summarising my NRP progress report now. Hope I can do it.
