LOVE=IRRESPONSIBLE FRIENDSHIP=EVIL

Something I seen before somewhere. Along our journey of life, we often get caught up in what we feel is love. It could be mere infatuation, but being immature adolescents, we are unable to judge this extent and make it up to be something greater. We call it love. I love her. I love him. Yet how much do we really understand this? We continue with this and begin to wrap ourselves up in beautiful white silk. We build a fantasy world. How beautiful it would be if we could be together with him or her.

Soon, we want to make this reality. We spin the silk around us till it is visible to the public, and no longer something hidden in the corner of a wardrobe. We get tangled in this web of love. Ocassionally for the professional seamstress, the web might turn out beautiful. However, very often, due to the lack of patience and skill, it becomes just a dangerous gaping vortex sucking everything around in. It is not just you and him or her. It is everyone around you which gets involved.

Family. You might get moody and unleash your frustration on them. Friends. Similar to family. However, the results may be more catastrophic due to the closer proximity to the situation. You may get sucked deeper. You drown in the selfishness of the one who thought he or she loved. Yes, selfish. You cannot breathe.

But that is not all. Friends and family will understand. There is somehow the bond there that makes them feel it is okay to go through this for you sake. But there is the possiblity of the whirlpool becoming uncontrollable. It turns into a black hole. Even those you may not have even seen in your life may get trapped in your selfishness.

Well basically, no do not give up on love. In fact believe in the power of love. Love makes the world go round. Love for family. Love for friends. It makes the world beautiful.

Love between two. It should be always kept in a box with bright red warnings on it. Warning: Possible destruction. Always handle with care. It is not wrong to love. Even if things go awry, it gives you experience. Gives you a lesson. But what should one do when things go awry? Put it back in the box. Secure it with the love of friendship. And do not carry on with the mistake.

Love is for a moment. Friendship is for eternity. Friendship before love. Many elderly couples, perhaps it is the friendship that pulls them through. Love gives a spark. But friendship gives happiness.

Sometimes, we should just step back and take a look around us. Allow our heart to be cleansed of what we think is love. Look at the other forms of love. And try to live with it in a while. You may seem to feel bored after a while, but when you see the trouble that love brings others, you may feel glad that you are not in something like that. Take a break. It might get you more ready for the next one.

Some of us may feel it is worth everything for love. Then again, is it? Love is to bring us happiness. If we sacrifice happiness for love, are we not contradicting ourselves?

What I am trying to say is, no not be a monk or a nun. I am not promoting anything here. Love between two can be very beautiful, if we can handle it well. Even if it ends, there may be beautiful memories. Just know where we should stop. Should you stop now? Make a clean stop. Dont deceive yourself by saying I am giving up. Make sure you feel it in your heart.
